What Is Confederalism?
The Core Philosophy
Confederalism is a system of political organisation where independent sovereign states form a union for common action, retaining their own autonomy. Central government power is strictly limited and subordinate to the member states, which can choose to leave the confederation.
Political ideologies are rarely static. They exist on a spectrum of economic freedom and social liberty. Understanding where Confederalism falls on this spectrum is critical to analysing modern geopolitical shifts and understanding systemic structures.
