What Is Geo-Libertarianism?

Geo-Libertarianism concept visual

The Core Philosophy

Geo-libertarianism is a political and economic ideology that combines libertarian principles of individual liberty and limited government with Georgist ideas about land value taxation. It advocates for taxing the economic rent of land and natural resources while abolishing other taxes on labour and capital.

Political ideologies are rarely static. They exist on a spectrum of economic freedom and social liberty. Understanding where Geo-Libertarianism falls on this spectrum is critical to analysing modern geopolitical shifts and understanding systemic structures.
