What Is Neoclassical Liberalism?

Neoclassical Liberalism concept visual

The Core Philosophy

Neoclassical liberalism is a form of liberalism that revives classical liberal ideas of individual liberty, free markets, and limited government, often in response to welfare-state liberalism. It emphasises strong property rights, deregulation, and a minimal state confined to enforcing contracts and providing defence.

Political ideologies are rarely static. They exist on a spectrum of economic freedom and social liberty. Understanding where Neoclassical Liberalism falls on this spectrum is critical to analysing modern geopolitical shifts and understanding systemic structures.
