What Is Technocracy?
The Core Philosophy
Technocracy is a system of governance where decision-makers are selected based on their expertise in a particular area, especially scientific or technical knowledge, rather than political affiliation or democratic election. It posits that societal problems can best be solved through rational, technical management by experts.
Political ideologies are rarely static. They exist on a spectrum of economic freedom and social liberty. Understanding where Technocracy falls on this spectrum is critical to analysing modern geopolitical shifts and understanding systemic structures.
