What Is Titoism?
The Core Philosophy
Titoism refers to the political ideology and practice of Josip Broz Tito, particularly in post-World War II Yugoslavia, characterised by a unique path to socialism independent of Soviet control. It involved workers' self-management, non-alignment in the Cold War, and a degree of decentralisation within a communist framework.
Political ideologies are rarely static. They exist on a spectrum of economic freedom and social liberty. Understanding where Titoism falls on this spectrum is critical to analysing modern geopolitical shifts and understanding systemic structures.
